Mindfulness is about learning to live in the present moment with compassion and kindness toward self and others. The research on mindfulness practice has shown that we can begin to re-route our neuro-pathways that often reinforce symptoms related to stress, anxiety, and depression. However, mindfulness is a practice focused on training our attention, not unlike physical training one does in sports. Registration required; space is limited. Call the Senior Center to sign up.
