Some further clarifications for the traffic portion of our RFP:
• The Site Impact Study – Traffic will be an update to the Traffic Impact Study completed by Michael Baker in 2015 based on any new findings and expanding the study as necessary for it to be complete.
• All cost estimates that will be included in the site impact study will be planning level cost estimates.
• Please include ALL traffic counts (likely the study at Exit 203 will only include a certain point of time of the existing traffic counts and since the timing may be out of sync with the Lake Hill Site Impact Study, the Lake Hill Site Impact Study should provide its own traffic counts)
• The Site Impact Study will need to include Trip Generations from Lake Hill and the methodology for the “split” on east vs west travelers
• The traffic portion of the site impact study should include from Hwy 9 to Hwy 6 along Dillon Dam Road. On the East Side of Lake Hill (Dillon), we will want to see a capacity analysis with level of service analysis for both the roundabout at the Dam on Dillon Dam Road and the intersection of Hwy 6 and Dillon Dam Road. The Site Impact Study should also evaluate the access permit for Hwy 6 and Dillon Dam Road – will we need a new access permit? And what will be required for that access permit?
• On the West Side (Frisco), we will likely want to see a level of service analysis at Ten Mile Drive and Dam Road as this may not be covered in the current CDOT study of Exit 203.
