Summit County Mountain Meals Program

The Summit County Community & Senior Center offers several opportunities for nutritious, affordable meals through our Mountain Meals program.

Monday Night Dinners

Monday night buffet dinners are provided weekly at 6:00 PM at the Summit County Community & Senior Center. Starting at 5:30 PM, we have a "Happy Half Hour" for those who would like to gather a bit early. Feel free to bring a beverage of your choice! Dinners are $12.00 per person.

Tuesday and Thursday Lunches

Lunch is served on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12:00 noon for those that would like to join. The cost of lunch is based on a sliding scale ($4.00-$6.00 per person).

For lunches and dinners, reservations must be made by 8:00 AM the day of the meal by calling the meals hotline at (970) 668-2944, or by signing up in the office. Cancellations may also be made on the hotline by 8:00 AM on the day of the meal. Menus are available in our monthly newsletter.

Mountain Meals on Wheels

Our meal program is available to all seniors in the County. This service is available short-term if you are recovering from surgery or other medical conditions. We also offer meals to home-bound individuals. Meals are delivered Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. The cost is based on a sliding scale from $4 - $6/meal. Volunteers delivering meals also perform "wellness checks" and bring library materials and the local newspaper - all with a smile!
