Alcoholics Anonymous

Al-Anon offers hope and help to families and friends of alcoholics. No dues or fees are required. They can be reached at (970) 513-4990.

Shaw Cancer Center Support Group

Shaw’s support group ensures that cancer patients are not alone in their journey and addresses the experiences of cancer treatment. The Shaw Cancer Support Group features speakers on health-related topics and serves as a support system for patients and family members. Vanessa is a licensed clinical social worker and the counselor for Shaw.

Caregiver / Memory Loss Support Group

This group meets the second Tuesday of each month at the Senior Center. Walk-ins are always welcome. Those who have a friend or family member for whom they are caring, or who are experiencing any form of memory loss, are encouraged to come get support and resources to assist them. Grief Support Group

Bristlecone Health Services understands that grief often brings up unfamiliar and sometimes confusing emotions. The death of a loved one can be one of life’s toughest challenges. To help you through the challenges of grief, Bristlecone holds free grief groups. Groups are open to anyone in the community and no appointment is necessary. This group meets the last Monday of each month at the Summit Medical Center (second floor boardroom) from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. Individual counseling sessions are also available free of charge.
