Foreclosure, the forced sale of a piece of property to repay a debt, is conducted by the Office of the Summit County Public Trustee on Deeds of Trust containing a power of sale. Colorado Revised Statutes specify the procedure for conducting the foreclosure, which must be followed exactly.
