Maps

If you are looking for information on property boundaries and ownership, please visit the “Property Information Search and Maps” section of the website. Properties protected as Summit County Open Space will be shown as owned by “Summit County Board of Commissioners”.

Approximately 80% of Summit County is owned by the US Forest Service (USFS). For information on recreational opportunities in the White River National Forest, please visit http://www.fs.usda.gov/recmain/whiteriver/recreation. Summit County is located within the Dillon Ranger District, or http://www.fs.usda.gov/detail/whiteriver/about-forest/districts/?cid=fsbdev3_001245. You can also visit the Dillion Ranger District (across from Target in Silverthorne) for additional information.

The Town of Breckenridge and Summit County have produced an excellent map of the non-motorized trails in the Breckenridge area. You can view the map here (http://www.townofbreckenridge.com/index.aspx?page=520 ), or purchase a hard copy at the Breckenridge Information Center or Summit County Open Space office (County Commons building, Frisco).
